2008 New Year Countdown Night

It was the end of a year again . For the 12/31 in past few years , I just sat on the sofa , watched TV for new year countdown night . But this year , I decided to go to countdown night by myself . But it was really cold , I almost gave up to go to Taipei .

Fortunately , I kept up my mind to attend countdown night with my friends . We got there at about 8:00 . There were a large amount of people , everywhere I could see was full of people . The countdown night was very exciting . On the stage were many famous singer , bands . But I could hardly looked the performance on the stage . At the last minute of the year , everyone started to countdown . When the first second of 2008 arrived , Taipei 101 burst out the magnificent firework . It was so beautiful .

A new year was coming again , I hope I could improve all my subject and relationship .

Christmas

This was the first Christmas in my university life . But not thing special . I didn't wrote any Christmas cards and didn't receive any of them . But there was a party of Life Science on Wednesday .

The first performance was the history of Christmas , but it was just for fun . The second performance was a funny show by the first grade . And the we had dancing and played many games . The point of the party was " The Ten Most of Life Science . " Like the person who sleep the most , who misted the most ....... . And at the end of the party , we had an activities of changing present of each other . I got a package of cookies .

The party was really successful . Thanks a lot to all the people who spent their time to prepare the party .

Information Technology show

On Saturday , some of my classmates organized a group to Information Technology show in Taipei . Of course I was one of them . We took a car driven by one of my classmates . We arrived there at about ten o'clock .

In the exhibit area , there were lots of people . One of us wanted to buy a digital camera , so we began to search the cheap one . But all the brand of digital cameras were higher than five thousand dollars , so he gave up . And then we changed our target to the ink of printer . The ink was much cheaper , but it should buy more than four at once , so I didn't buy it . And then someone bought a headphone . There were many new products of high technology . Although I didn't buy any thing , I felt very satisfied .

We ate lunch at Bugger King , and then walked around . End up the day in Taipei .

Christmas Cup table tennis race

Our table tennis team of Life Science attended a race - Christmas Cup table tennis race . There were only six team . Seven people , three single races and two double races for five points. I played double race with 宜樺 .

Our first race was versus Industrial Management . We got the first three points and finished the race . The second race we versus Medical Science B . We got the first , second and fourth points . Until here , we won the preliminary race perfectly . But when we versus Medical Science A , we lost three points and lost the race . The finial race we versus Medical Science B again . Lost the first point , got the second and third point , lost the fourth point . For the last point , it was really an exciting race , 智翔 got the victory with a really danger score .

To sum up , we finally got the third , not bad . It was an special experience and let me enjoyed a lot of fun .

COLD~~~

I'm come from Kaohsing , so the weather here in north Taiwan is too cold for me . And just several days ago , the cold current came . It was a big challenge for me . Evry day when got up , I can't accept such the low temperature in the morning . I took out all of my big coat and put them on .

The weather in north Taiwan is cold and wet . It rains all day and blows wind in winter . And this is an special experience for me , who grow up in Kaohsiung . Here , I can' t feel the sunlight for many days . It made me miss the kind and warm sunshine in Kaohsiung . But there was something strange , many of my classmates had gotten a flu , I didn't be contagious . Maybe it was the only thing that make me feel gratified .

One day in Taichung

National Museum of Natural Science , that's the place we had gone for a class of Biology Experiment . On the bus , we had movies , singing and UNO cards , we surely had a good time .

When we got to museum , there were some of our classmates already arrived . First we had free time to walk around . We had visited the giant squid , mini zoo and Global Environment Gallery . And then we had a lunch at McDonald , because the food in other restaurant was expensive . In the afternoon , we visited the Life Science Gallery , that was the key point of our journey . It displayed the principle of life . And then we went to see a 3D movie , Haunted Lighthouse and Bugs . After the movie , we went to Science Center , there were a lot of interisting experiments . Then we went to the last point - Botanical Garden . There were many kinds of plants . Luckly , we had a chance to take elevator to the top of the green house . That was surely an exciting experiece . Then we took a photo of all our class and finished our trip in Taichung . Good~~ .

XXXVII baseball world cup-2007

The world cup of baseball had took place in Taiwan ! I 'm so exciting about it . Of course , my favorite team is Taipei . They had been finished three games , with South Africa , Japan and Italy . And we had won all the games !

The first game with South Africa was an easy game , the final score was 16 : 1 , it seems that South Africa should try harder . The next game was played with Japan , and it was also the emphasis of the preliminary . We won , with the score 6 : 1 . I was so exciting and anxious when the game was playing . Taipei surely did a good job . The third game was played with Italy . But both Taipei and Italy didn't get any score untile ninth inning we got one point . Fortunately , we won the game .

I gave Taipei highly expect , believe they can still win all the game , and got the champion .

Anniversary celebrations of CGU

It was anniversary celebrations of CGU last Saturday. The sport meet had many races , but there was something more important - the cheer squad . We had spent a lot of time on it . In the past two week , all we did is practicing , practicing and practicing ! The day before anniversary celebrations , we had a rehearsal of school . We hadn't finished all the action of the cheer squad yet , so our performance was awful . Because of this , we started practicing from six o'clock . Try very hard to finish the action . When the area was closed , we moved to our dormitory continued practicing . At about eleven o'clock , it was overed the time we could use the area . So we decided to finish the practicing today . But some of us still had problem of the action . We went outside and continued practicing . Miraculously , all the other people came to practicing with us . We practicing the cheer squad outside in the midnight , sounds like crazy .

At anniversary celebrations of CGU , I invited one of my friends to our school . But actually I had no time to take him go around . All of our classmates were busied for the lastly practice . I think we had a wonderful performance . In the end , we got number four . But we had gotten something more important , we had ever tried hard together !!

Halloween-a horrible movie

I had mention that I saw a movie in Taipei Vieshow. Wehad no idea what to see and 宜樺 said that to see something exciting-Halloween.But we all regreted when we were seeing the movie...


It's about a 10-year-old boy, Mike, who was badly treated by his father, sister and classmates. On Halloween, he killed his classmate in a mountain then killed his father, sister and her boyfriend at home. He was arrested and sent in a jail. His mother and a psychology doctor wanted to help him, but the doctor failed and his mother suicided. After 15 years, Mike never speaks anymore and always wears a mask. On Halloween, he returned to the town again! This time he wanted to find his younger sister, killed all the person that bothered him. The ending was his younger sister shooted a bullet in his head....

It was really an accident that we saw this movie. We thought it was an action movie, but the fact was that it was a horrible movie. I think I won't see a movie like that again. But it surely a special experience.

Take a trip to Taipei

Happily finished the exam at this week. Three of my classmates-宜樺, 國勤, 睿恩 and I decided to take a one day trip to Taipei.We went to Taipei by 國勤's car. Then we took MRT and bus to Taipei 101. That was the first time I saw Taipei 101 with my eyes. It is realy an extremely tall building. Then we ate lunch at Buger King and saw a movie in Vieshow. But we had no idea what to see. Finally we decided to see something exciting-Halloween! About this movie I will write in next blog.

After we saw the movie, we decided to go to 錢櫃KTV. We sang in KTV for about three hours. But I have no talent in singing. It was expensive to sing in KTV, I think I won't come anymore. We had dimmer in 永和豆漿,it's really good to taste.

Then we finished all the day in Taipei and went back to school. I didn't buy anything but I spent nearly 1000 dollars. Fortunately, I surely have a great time in Taipei.

Physics....

I'm not good at Physics, so that why I want to study in Biology. But everything went wrong. I have to study Physics for first semester in university. That was really a bad news...

I had already had a Physics exam at Thursday. It was really a nightmare. I had prepared Physics for many days before exam. And there were only a few subjects should be prepared. But when I got the examination paper, there was only a question that I can do. I tried my best to full all the answer paper, and went out with hopelessness.

I hope I didn't make any mistake on the question that Ican do and the grade won't be very bad. I think I should spend more time on Physics-study it every week, not just prepare for the test. Perhaps I could have good grade on my next exam.

A busy week!!

What a busy week it was! I can't believe how much thing I had done in a week.

I had hand in a Chemical paper and a psychology paper in Tuesday. And had an English exam, an Biology exam, Physic online assignment, a small party by our department and also our uniform day in Wednesday. And hand in another Chemical paper, a Chemical exam in Thursday. Finally, I had had to hand in a Biology paper in Friday.

I had an experience of the most horrible week sience I attended in CGU. But I had overcame it. And it told me prpare all the exam and assignment earlier, so that the horrible week won' be happened again.

Yankees' future

Yankees will face a big change:Yankees manager -Joe Torre won't lead his team anymore!

This season Yankees didn't have a good perform. Although they got in the race after season, but they lose at the first race to Cleveland Indians. I was very upset about it. Because the final race was pitched by Chien-Ming Wang, who is my favorite pitcher. He didn't pitch well at that game.

And the most important of all was the manager of Yankees. Who will be the next?Don Mattingly, a bench coach, was a popular choice. He had well frindship with many player in Yankees. Don Mattingly said that he surely have a chance to be the manager of Yankees, but he won't worry anything happened in future. Another popular choice Joe Girardi, who was an ex-player of Yankees.

After all, it doesn't matter who will be the next manager of Yankees, but the achievement of next season is more important for me!!
